Chemin Hsiao (Taiwan) is a visual artist based in Queens & Brooklyn at the Chashama Studio Space. His 2021 artist banners proposal “Dandelions Know” was selected as the winner at the Noguchi Museum to raise awareness to the anti-Asian violence. He is a recipient of the New Work Grant & ArtSite Public Art Commissioning from Queens Arts Fund, and has taken part in artist residencies such as the Kingsbrae International Residence for the Arts in Canada. Since 2019, he has completed several commissioned murals for the Queens community. In the NYFA Immigrant Artist program, he was a 2016 mentee and 2022/2023 mentor.

Besides his studio practice, Hsiao has taught visual arts workshops to students from kindergarten to seniors for organizations such as the Met Museum, Noguchi Museum, New York Botanical Garden, New York School of Interior Design, Queens Botanical Garden, ProjectArt, and senior centers in Queens & Brooklyn.

When you book, you’ll have the opportunity to provide this context and/or share any relevant materials you'd like your coach to look over. They will then review these in advance, and provide feedback during your conversation. Your session will take place virtually over zoom in Eastern Time (ET). Once you book, you will receive a confirmation email with the zoom link.
